NFL legend Rob Gronkowski has made his prediction for who will win Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles and the Chiefs will meet in the New Orleans showpiece on February 9. The Kansas City Chiefs come into the game as the favourites following their AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills.

Meanwhile, the Eagles beat the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game to book their place in the Super Bowl.

Rob Gronkowski Makes His Super Bowl Prediction

The Chiefs have made it to their fourth Super Bowl in the last five years, an incredible accomplishment for the AFC franchise. With Rob Gronkowski believes the Chiefs will beat the Eagles, given how Kansas City boast an 8-0 record against Philadelphia’s defensive co-ordinator, Vic Fangio.

Speaking to The Today Show, Gronkowski was asked for his Super Bowl prediction.

He said: “Well, Patrick Mahomes has faced this defensive coordinator eight times in his career and he has beaten him all eight times.

“I don’t think this defensive coordinator is going to get over the hump versus Patrick Mahomes. He’s too experienced. Patrick Mahomes knows what to do in every single situation.”

Gronkowski The Super Bowl Legend

Rob Gronkowski is debatably the greatest tight end to ever grace the NFL. His partnership with Tom Brady brought success to both New England and Tampa Bay.

‘Gronk’ won three Super Bowl’s with the Patriots between 2015 and 2019. He then went on to reunite with Brady in Tampa Bay to win his final title in 2021.

Across five Super Bowl appearances, Gronkowski recorded a total of 364 yards for five touchdowns, lifting four Vince Lombardi trophies over a brilliant career.
