Chris Eubank Jr says the options are ‘endless’ for his next fight, but hinted at a possible Conor Benn rematch or a much-anticipated Canelo fight.

Saturday saw Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In a fight that more than lived up to the billing, both boxers can hold their heads up high after delivering an incredible display in North London.

But now the dust has settled, Eubank is already assessing his next fight options.

Fresh from the biggest win of his career, Eubank is already hinting at who his next opponent may be.

A rematch against Benn has been lined up for the same venue in September, but Eubank has not yet committed to his next fight.

Another option that is heavily rumoured is for him to fight Mexican Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Eubank said: “Watch this space.

“Boxing is a very beautiful industry where anything can happen. The possibilities are endless. If the rematch is meant to be, it will be.

“And if not, guess what? There are plenty of other amazing fights to be had. And great things for me to achieve in the sport.

“So I’m happy either way.”

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez has been discussed as a possible opponent for Chris Eubank Jr.

Mexican super-middleweight champion ‘Canelo’ will defend his titles this weekend, and had been touted as a possible opponent for the winner of Eubank-Benn.

“That is another stadium filler, absolutely,” Eubank Jr told Sky Sports.

“Wembley, Tottenham, any one of the large football stadiums in the UK will be filled for a fight like that.

“He is an opponent I’ve been looking at for many years now. And the fans would love to see that. So 100 per cent that’s a name in my line of sight.

“And we will be doing whatever we can to secure that fight in the future.”

Eubank’s father, Chris Eubank Sr, was not exepcted to be at his son’s fight.

The two had reportedly been estranged for several years, with Eubank Sr calling his son a ‘disgrace’ in the build-up to the fight.

But the former champions arrived alongside his son in dramatic fashion, before ing Nigel Benn, Conor’s father and Eubank Sr’s former opponent, at ringside.

Chris Eubank Sr ed his son at ringside in an unexpected twist during Jr’s fight with Conor Benn.

The father-son rivalry that spanned two generations has captured the imagination of boxing fans across the globe – something Eubank Jr acknowledged.

He said: “It’s real. And not just real in the sense that it’s two men fighting.

“It’s real in the sense that there is history and a genuine story that everybody can relate to. The father and son story can’t be sured by anything. That is the dream.

“That is the fantasy, a perfect working father and son relationship. So for fight fans to see two men going through tough times and to eventually put that all to one side and unite, that isn’t boxing, that’s life. That’s relatable. That’s everybody on planet Earth.

“Every man, every son wants that. And if they can see it happen, it’s a beautiful thing.”
