Who is Sean O’Malley’s wife? Do the pair have any children? These are some of the questions we aim to answer in this article about ‘Suga’ and his beloved wife.

us at SportsCasting as we take a deep dive into the personal life of O’Malley and the man he is away from the bright lights of the UFC octagon.

Sean O’Malley Wife: Is ‘Suga’ Still With Her? 1k2g1j

The answer is yes! Sean O’Malley is still with his wife Danya Gonzalez and the couple have a unique relationship, as they are in a self-claimed ‘open relationship’.

O’Malley has been vocal on their relationship, saying this on a recent Full Send podcast: “Everyone’s definition of an open relationship is different. I like to think of ours as just an open-minded relationship where we don’t own each other.”

The pair have been together for around nine years and Gonzalez has seen her partner sky-rocket in both the UFC ranks and stardom.

The 30-year-old has become one of the biggest stars in all of MMA today. Throughout his rise, Gonzalez has been right by O’Malley’s side every step of the way.

Their ‘open relationship’ means that O’Malley’s wife allows him to sleep with other women, and vice versa if she so chooses. ‘Suga’ divulged this information in the aftermath of becoming UFC Bantamweight Champion after beating Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292.

It is evident that O’Malley and his wife have no secrets and are happy with their relationship as it is. It certainly isn’t the normal type of relationship that you hear of in day to day life, but it seems to work for Gonzalez and O’Malley.

Given they fact they have been together for almost a decade, Gonzalez and ‘Suga’ continue to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Given his success in the octagon that has seen Sean O’Malley’s net worth hit $4m, both ‘Suga’ and his wife are able to enjoy their riches and live a quality life.

Danya Gonzalez is the long-term wife and partner of former UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley.

Gonzalez was born in 1991 and is currently 34-years-old, meaning she is a few years older than her UFC fighting partner.

Danya has made a name for herself as a web personality, hairstylist, and entrepreneur. She achieved all of this after finishing her basic studies. Sean O’Malley’s wife signed up for a cosmetology course at the Cutting Edge and completed her graduation there in 2011.

Just like her MMA fighting husband, who boasts a current record of 18-2, Gonzalez has competed in a few jiu-jitsu competitions of her own.

She has regularly posted on social media practicing her MMA skills with her husband Sean, with the pair seemingly having a lot of fun together in their ongoing relationship.

Although their relationship is very different from the vast majority you hear of, it is evident that Sean O’Malley and Danya Gonzalez live a happy life together.

It seems their respect for each other is more than just sexual, and that they are totally comfortable in their skin and doing their own thing in the bedroom from time to time.

As well as being married, Sean O’Malley and his wife Danya Gonzalez are also parents.

The pair welcomed their first child into the world back in 2020, with Danya giving birth to their baby daughter. They named their first child Elena.

Their second child came just weeks ago ahead of his UFC Bantamweight Title rematch with Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316. O’Malley has clearly been busy outside of the octagon, with his wife Danya this time giving birth to a baby boy.

O’Malley is now a father to two children – one daughter and one son. They called their son Matteo Montana.

Speaking at the pre-fight press conference ahead of UFC 316, O’Malley shared his thoughts on juggling both an MMA career as an elite UFC fighter with being a father to two kids:

“All this stuff is fun, and I get to do this. But that Sunday rolls around, and it’s back to being Dad,” he said. “It really puts it in perspective.”

One thing is for sure, both Sean O’Malley and his wife Danya Gonzalez are loving parents to their two children. Providing for his family is evidently a huge deal for ‘Suga’, who continues to put food on the table thanks to his career as an elite mixed martial artist.
