Bournemouth are set to offer a new contract to manager Andoni Iraola as rumours circulate about Tottenham’s interest in the Spanish coach.

The club are planning to table a new deal for Iraola, with Bournemouth owner Bill Foley flying to England this week to begin formal contract talks.

According to reports, American businessman Foley will be in attendance as the Cherries travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.

The owner will then open the brand-new, state-of-the-art training facility located in Wimborne, seven miles away from the Vitality Stadium.

Discussions are set to begin with Andoni Iraola, whose current contract runs until the end of next season.

The 42-year-old Spaniard has guided Bournemouth to an impressive eighth in the Premier League table.

The Cherries are still in with a chance of qualifying for Europe for the first time in their history and look on course for a best-ever league finish.

It is therefore vital for Foley and the club to secure the services of their manager for the foreseeable future, especially with other clubs thought to be interested.
