NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points leader Corey Heim is preparing to give his emerging talents another Cup Series test.
Heim was included among the Cup Series’ 39-machine field for Sunday’s Cracker Barrel 400, scheduled to pilot the No. 67 Toyota for 23XI Racing.
Previously this season, the 22-year-old driver competed at Kansas Speedway on May 11, recording a P13, his best finish in four career Cup starts.
In the Truck circuit, Heim collected four wins and nine top-ten finishes in 11 starts. In 75 series outings, he collected 15 wins. With +105 odds, he remains the heavy sports-betting favorite to capture the drivers’ championship, according to BetOnline Sportsbook. Chandler Smith (+450) ranked second and defending titleholder Ty Majeski (+500) was third.
P13 today at Kansas. Big thanks to @23xi @RobinhoodApp – learned a lot out there. Can’t wait to be back behind the wheel of the No. 67 #teamtoyota pic.twitter.com/oKnSDiY2q7

Rockingham Speedway Put Up For Sale
About a month after hosting a Truck Series event, a refurbished Rockingham Speedway has been put on the market.
Track owner Dan Lovenheim revealed to The Charlotte Observer why the track is up for sale. With more planned renovations, “The Rock” is targeting 2026 or ‘27 to return to hosting points-style events. To reach that goal, Lovenheim indicated another company will need to take over.
“We’ve basically taken it in first gear as far as we can go, building it out, getting it ready for bigger and better hands,” Lovenheim said. “And the time is right to the baton to someone who can take it farther than we can.”
