Fenhaus marked the circuit’s first race at the 2-mile ’ first career pole. His previous best start was P12.
“Hopefully, we can lead some laps and have a good race,” Fenhaus told Fox Sports.
Cup Series regular Carson Hocevar, a Michigan native, will start on the outside of the front row after posting a 183.271 mph qualifying run.
Along the fourth row, points leader Corey Heim will start seventh, next to Connor Mosack.

ARCA’s Brenden Queen Holds Off Corey Heim At MIS
Was this a sign of things to come?
ARCA Menards Series driver Brenden Queen, a rising rookie, outdueled NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points leader Corey Heim to claim Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 from the pole at Michigan International Speedway.
While running in his first full ARCA season, Queen has been standing out, visiting Victory Lane three times in six starts. His latest effort moved him past Lavar Scott for first place in the drivers’ standings.
With four top-five finishes, Queen, who nearly lapped the field of drivers outside the top 10 before Friday’s competition caution, could be in line for a prompt promotion. Perhaps Queen and Heim will compete for a Truck title in the near future.
To earn his way to the top ARCA circuit, Queen competed in the CARS Tour and claimed the track champion title at Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia.
