NASCAR Cup Series driver Joey Logano put his All-Star Race frustrations in reverse.

Immediately after Christopher Bell outdueled the reigning series champion to earn a trip to Victory Lane at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday night, Logano vented, telling Fox Sports: “I did all I could do to hold him off and he got under me and released the brake and gave me no option. Kind of just ran me up into the wall, and if I could’ve got to him, he was going around after a move like that, I just couldn’t get back to him.”

The winning move happened with 10 laps remaining as Bell clinched his first mid-season exhibition victory.

Logano changed his tune Monday during a ceremonial event in Mooresville, North Carolina.

“When I went back and re-watched it, I was like, that wasn’t as bad as I thought it was,” Logano told NBC Sports. “I’m a really bad loser. I’m a sore loser. I can’t help it. It is who I am, but I think that’s also what makes us winners.”

Below, we’ll preview the top storylines heading into Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, go over the odds, and give our best bets for the 13th points race on the 2025 NASCAR schedule.

Coca-Cola 600 Storylines

  • Here’s a vote for making the next NASCAR weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway a national series points event.
  • Will everything fall into place for Cup points leader Kyle Larson to complete the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 next Sunday? Rain washed away his attempt at “The Double” last year. During Monday’s Indy 500 practice, Larson earned a P11. The 2021 Cup champion enters the Coca-Cola 600 as the sports-betting favorite, drawing +550 odds from BetOnline Sportsbook.
  • Ross Chastain on his third-place finish during last Sunday’s All-Star Race: “Yeah, we got turned around there early in the race and hit the left-rear and the left-front, so something is bent. It really didn’t drive much different after that, even when the wheel was off.” Chastain paces the Cup field with 163 laps led over the circuit’s past three CMS outings.
