Rumours are reigniting that the highly-anticipated Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn fight could happen in early 2025. The pair have gone back and forth once again recently, with Benn calling Eubank out several times on social media in the past few days.

Chris Eubank Jr returns to the ring on October 12th on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol in Saudi Arabia. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is giving ‘Next Gen’ the opportunity to fight on one of his bumper Riyadh Season fight cards at the Kingdom Arena.
Eubank Jr faces Kamil Szeremeta on Saturday 12th October, a fight he should be winning with ease. Should the Englishman come through the fight, it looks like all roads could finally lead to the Conor Benn fight in early 2025.
Eubank Jr vs Benn was of course scheduled to take place in October 2022, before ‘The Destroyer’ subsequently failed a performance enhancing drugs test and thus the fight was cancelled.
Ever since then, there has been added incentive for the pair to fight, with both desperate to continue the family feud set by their two father’s years ago. Now, it seems the fight could be closer than ever to being made, with Benn vocal on Twitter that he wants to fight Eubank Jr next.
Not only that, but Benn recently posted a photo on social media of him, his father, his promoter Frank Warren and of course His Excellency. The five evidently had a meeting, discussing the options for who Conor Benn’s next fight could be against. The caption simply read ‘you know what’s next’.

It seems obvious that after Eubank Jr beat Szeremeta on the Beterbiev vs Bivol undercard, that he will almost certainly face bitter rival Benn next.
However, as we well know, boxing doesn’t always work out like that. Eubank Jr must first beat Kamil Szeremeta on October 12th, then he can worry about the potential Conor Benn fight in early 2025.
Both Eubank Jr and Benn were at Wembley Stadium last weekend for the Daniel Dubois fight, but the pair didn’t cross paths.
Since then, Benn has been vocal on Twitter, calling Eubank ‘satsuma head’ as well as posting several cryptic messages and videos aimed at ‘Next Gen’.

Fingers crossed Eubank Jr does the business on October 12th, then fans can really get excited at the prospect of Eubank Jr vs Benn finally happening next year.
Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn, the fathers of both Chris Jr and Conor, shared two epic battles in the early 1990s. Eubank won the first fight via knockout, with the second fight being deemed a draw. Their rivalry was bitter, and now it seems their two sons are happy to carry on the family rivalry.
