Sunderland Star Dan Neil Is Being Tracked By Roma And West Ham Ahead Of Potential Summer Switch 194f2d

The latest Dan Neil transfer news has revealed that Roma and West Ham are tracking the Sunderland star ahead of the summer transfer window.
Neil has been hugely impressive in the EFL Championship this term and has helped the Mackems up to fourth position with eight games remaining in 2024/25.
The Black Cats captain has enjoyed a stellar partnership with Jobe Bellingham in the middle of the park. A fans favourite at the Stadium of Light, Neil has been previously linked with a move to the Premier League.
Burnley and Aston Villa were tracking the 23-year-old in the 2022 January transfer window. However, a move failed to materialise and Neil stayed in the North East.
Naturally, Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris will be eager to keep hold of Neil with the club making a solid push to a return to England’s top-flight for the first time since 2017.

Interestingly, Roma’s reported interest in Dan Neil comes after the Serie A side sent officials to keep track of Enzo Le Fee. The Frenchman is on loan at Sunderland from the Italian outfit.
That is according to football transfer correspondent Peter O’ Rourke (@SportsPeteO). He also said that West Ham are keeping tabs on Neil with Hammers boss Graham Potter set to replenish his midfield in the summer.
A lot will hinge on what league the Black Cats will be playing in next season whether Neil remains at the Stadium of Light. If the Mackems are unsuccessful in gaining promotion, Neil’s availability will be stronger.
As it stands, TransferMarkt values the 23-year-old at £4.5 million. However, the Mackems will likely want around £12-15 million to part ways with the South Shields-born star.
Neil has made a total of 38 appearances in all competitions this season. He has netted twice and provided three assists for the North East side.
On Saturday, Neil is expected back in action as Regis Le Bris’ side welcome Millwall to the Stadium of Light. Ahead of the match, the best football betting sites in the UK have all the latest markets and odds.
