With the EFL Championship entering its final straight, all 24 teams still have to be switched on as each club is either hoping to get promoted or trying to stay clear of being relegated.

In a stunning campaign, the EFL Championship has it all to play for going into the final four games of the campaign, as every team has something to aim for.

The automatic promotion places are taken up by Leeds United and Burnley, who currently both sit on 88 points after 42 matches.

Sticking with the promotion theme, the play-off places are currently made up of Sheffield United, Sunderland, Bristol City and Coventry.

Sheffield United and Sunderland have already cemented their places in the play-offs and will be pushing to break into the top two places.

However, Bristol City and Coventry are just four and three points, respectively, ahead of the three teams below them – meaning they could drop out of the play-off places.

Which EFL Championship Teams Can Be Promoted? u231s

1 – Leeds United (88 pts)
2 – Burnley (88 pts)
3 – Sheffield United (83 pts)
4 – Sunderland (76 pts)
5 – Bristol City (64 pts)
6 – Coventry (63 pts)
7 – West Brom (60 pts)
8 – Middlesbrough (60 pts)
9 – Millwall (60 pts)
10 – Blackburn Rovers (56 pts)
11 – Watford (56 pts)

Each of these 11 teams has a chance of earning promotion, with the likes of Leeds and Burnley almost cementing their place in the top two.

However, working up from 11th-6th there is just seven points separating these two positions in the table – meaning every club will be pushing for that play-off spot.

The likes of Bristol City and Millwall have never competed in the Premier League, making this a monumental year if they can earn a place in the play-offs.

Watford last competed in the Premier League in 2019-20, Blackburn have not been in the Premier League since 2011-12, Middlesbrough have not manged to return to the Prem since 2008-09 and West Brom appeared in the Premier League fairly recently in 2020-21.

Which EFL Championship Teams Can Be Promoted or Relegated? 1t4i5x

12 – Swansea (54 pts)
13 – Norwich City (53 pts)
14 – Sheffield Wednesday (53 pts)

These three sides sit in the area of uncertainty, as although they all have a slim chance of finishing in the play-offs, they can still finish in the bottom three.

A lot would need to happen for Swansea, Norwich or Sheffield Wednesday to be relegated or promoted – however both are possibilities.

Which EFL Championship Teams Can Be Relegated? 251k62

15 – QPR (50 pts)
16 – Preston (49 pts)
17 – Oxford Utd (48 pts)
18 – Stoke City (47 pts)
19 – Portsmouth (46 pts)
20 – Hull City (45 pts)
21 – Derby County (43 pts)
22 – Cardiff City (42 pts)
23 – Luton Town (40 pts)
24 – Plymouth Argyle (40 pts)

Now on the other end of the spectrum, each team from 15th-24th has a chance to face relegation into League One this season.

Cardiff, Luton and Plymouth currently take up the bottom three with the latter sitting at the foot of the Championship, however, Argyle are just three points off safety with four matches left.

QPR, who take up 15th, are fairly safe from relegation and need just five more points to truly cement their safety and that’s only if the teams below them go on a faultless run of form.

The likes of Derby County, Hull City, Portsmouth and Stoke are in treacherous territory, as any dropped points could make for nervous end.
