Anderson’s moment of perfection came right at the start of his campaign on Streaming Board Two, meaning viewers on PDCTV were treated to a sensational nine-darter to kick off the day.

The Scottish darts legend followed the classic 180, 180, 141 route.

In fact, as darts analyst Dan Dawson pointed out on X, Anderson hit six perfect darts prior to the nine-dart leg, hitting a 168 before checking out 134 with a tops-tops finish.

Not only did Anderson hit a perfect leg, but he also went on to deliver a dominant performance against Krzysztof Ratajski.

‘The Flying Scotsman’ posted an impressive 115 average in the match, as he looks to make a deep run in the tournament.

The Players Championship events have been a hotbed for nine-dart finishes lately, with several players achieving perfection across recent double-header tournaments.

Anderson’s nine-darter adds to the growing tally.
