PDC Premier League Darts Night 15 Preview 491k5a

Night 15 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts campaign gets underway in Aberdeen, Scotland, on Thursday evening, where Luke Humphries will be looking to build on his victory in Leeds last week to maintain the pressure on Luke Littler.

Humphries recorded successive 6-4 wins over Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting on his way to the final on Night 14 before besting league-leading Littler 6-5 to seal his third nightly win of the year.

It leaves the world No. 1 just seven points behind the reigning PDC World Champion in the table, with both players assured of a top-four finish and play-off qualification alongside third place Gerwyn Price.

Van Gerwen currently occupies the final play-off position in fourth place, however Nathan Aspinall is just a point behind in fifth place, and the pair face off in a crucial clash for qualification in the opening quarter-final in North East Scotland.

Rob Cross follows in sixth place, with Chris Dobey and Bunting sitting in seventh and eighth, respectively.

Price takes on bottom-of-the-table Bunting, Dobey goes head-to-head with Cross, and Littler faces Humphries in a top-of-the-table clash and a repeat of last week’s final in the remaining quarter-final fixtures.

PDC Premier League Darts Night 15 Predictions 3r3b1a

Michael van Gerwen vs Nathan Aspinall (19:15) 1h2j4e

‘Mighty Mike’ and ‘The Asp’ meet in a major clash for the final play-off qualification position. Just one point separates the pair in the table in fourth and fifth place, with just one week remaining after their meeting in Aberdeen.

MVG was eliminated by eventual Night 14 winner Humphries after a 6-4 defeat in the quarter-finals last week, while Aspinall was beaten 6-4 by world No. 2 Littler in his quarter-final fixture.

Van Gerwen looked to bounce back at Players Championship 15 in Hildesheim on Monday but failed to do so, as he suffered a shock 6-5 defeat to Dominik Gruellich in his first round matchup.

With the Dutchman clearly out of form, we’re backing ‘The Asp’ to come up trumps in Scotland.

Prediction: Michael van Gerwen 4-6 Nathan Aspinall

Gerwyn Price vs Stephen Bunting (19:45) 4q1x26

‘The Iceman’ and ‘The Bullet’ face off in the second quarter-final of the night, and we at SportsCasting are backing the Welshman to come out on top in rather comfortable fashion here.

Price has been excellent in the Premier League this term, boasting the t-second highest amount of nightly wins with three, while Bunting has struggled, sitting at the bottom of the table throughout the campaign.

Despite the Liverpudlian’s struggles, he actually reigned victorious when he last faced off against Price, sealing his sole nightly victory of the year with a 6-5 win over the former PDC World Champion on Night 9.

We’re not expecting any upsets here though, and are predicting a routine win for Price this time around.

Prediction: Gerwyn Price 6-2 Stephen Bunting

Chris Dobey vs Rob Cross (20:15) 704o11

It’s sixth versus seventh in our third quarter-final on Night 15, as ‘Hollywood’ goes head-to-head with ‘Voltage’.

Both players suffered first round defeats on Night 14, with Dobey now losing in the quarter-finals in three successive weeks, while Cross has fallen at the same stage in five of the last six weeks.

The pair last met in the Premier League on Night 6, where Cross claimed a 6-2 victory, and although we’re backing him to come out on top again here, we don’t expect him to do so by such a comfortable margin.

Prediction: Chris Dobey 5-6 Rob Cross

Luke Littler vs Luke Humphries (20:45) 23g23

In a repeat of last week’s final, first place Littler takes on second place Humphries in our final quarter-final of the night.

To preserve his hopes of securing top spot in the table, ‘Cool Hand’ will need to come out on top once again, but we at SportsCasting are backing ‘The Nuke’ to bounce back from last week’s defeat with a narrow win in Scotland.

Littler has now lost two in succession to Humphries in the Premier League, with their head-to-head record standing at three wins apiece in the competition, and we simply cannot see the youngster suffering a third consecutive loss.

Prediction: Luke Littler 6-5 Luke Humphries
