PDC Premier League Darts Night 14 Preview 2p3571
Night 14 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts campaign takes place in Leeds on Thursday, where Luke Littler will be looking to extend his lead at the top of the table after a record-breaking triumph in Birmingham last week.
The youngster became the first player in history to win five nights in a single Premier League season, claiming the scalp after overcoming Stephen Bunting (6-5), Nathan Aspinall (6-5) and Michael van Gerwen (6-4).
Littler sits firmly at the summit of the table after victory, nine points clear of second place Luke Humphries, while Gerwyn Price and Van Gerwen make up the remainder of the top four, on course for playoff qualification.
Aspinall, Rob Cross, Chris Dobey and Bunting follow in fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.
Heading to the First Direct Arena in West Yorkshire this time around, Cross takes on Price in the opener, with last week’s champion ‘The Nuke’ going toe-to-toe with ‘The Asp’ in the second quarter-final of the night.
MVG will look to gain ground on ‘Cool Hand Luke’ when they face off in the third game of the night, and it’s seventh versus eighth in the final match of the round as Bunting takes on Dobey.

PDC Premier League Darts Night 14 Predictions 5sn2j
Rob Cross vs Gerwyn Price (19:15) 1l4m1x
‘Voltage’ suffered elimination in the first round on Night 13, falling to a 6-4 defeat to Van Gerwen, and he followed that up with a round of 16 exit at the European Darts Grand Prix after a 6-3 loss to eventual champion Gary Anderson.
‘The Iceman’, meanwhile, overcame world number one Humphries in his quarter-final fixture in Birmingham but, like Cross, was eliminated at the hands of ‘Mighty Mike’, whom he lost 6-3 to in the semi-finals.
Price was also in action in Sindelfingen over the weekend, where he lost 6-5 to Raymond van Barneveld in the last 32.
When Cross and Price last met in the Premier League, it was the Welshman that reigned supreme, claiming a 6-2 win in the semi-finals on Night 12. We at SportsCasting are expecting a similar outcome in this one.
Prediction: Rob Cross 4-6 Gerwyn Price
Nathan Aspinall vs Luke Littler (19:45) 34q6f
Littler is in action against Aspinall in the second match of the night, and unsurprisingly, given his excellent form in the competition thus far, we’re backing the table-topping Night 13 champion to come out on top.
The 18-year-old opted to withdraw from the weekend’s European Darts Grand Prix, which Stuart Pyke put down to ‘scheduling’, while ‘The Asp’ crashed out of the tournament at the first hurdle after a 6-2 loss to Niels Zonneveld.
As well, ‘The Nuke’ has won all four of his matches against Aspinall in the Premier League this year, the most recent being last week’s 6-5 semi-final victory, and we’re expecting him to maintain his strong record against ‘The Asp’ in Leeds.
Prediction: Nathan Aspinall 3-6 Luke Littler
Michael van Gerwen vs Luke Humphries (20:15) 6i5n5h
Van Gerwen vs Humphries has the potential to be the fixture of the round, and we at SportsCasting are expecting the former world champions to play out a tightly contested affair at the First Direct Arena.
Both players underwhelmed on the Euro Tour over the weekend, with MVG losing to Dirk van Duijvenbode in the last 32 and ‘Cool Hand’ losing to Michael Smith in the last 16, so they’ll be desperate to bounce back here.
The pair have met on three occasions in the Premier League this term. Humphries claimed wins in their matchups on Night 1 and Night 12, while MVG was victorious in their Night 7 quarter-final clash.
With recent meetings narrowly favouring ‘Cool Hand’, we’re backing the Englishman to edge this one.
Prediction: Michael van Gerwen 5-6 Luke Humphries
Stephen Bunting vs Chris Dobey (20:45) 2f3l5p
It’s a bottom of the table clash to round things off in the quarter-finals as ‘The Bullet’ faces off against ‘Hollywood’.
Despite struggling for the majority of the 2025 Premier League campaign, both players have a nightly win under their belts, with Bunting prevailing in Berlin on Night 9 and Dobey claiming his win in Rotterdam on Night 11.
The pair head into this one off the back of quarter-final exits on Night 13 last Thursday, as well as disappointing round of 32 exits at the European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen over the weekend.
Dobey has won each of his two matches against Bunting in the Premier League thus far this year, 6-2 wins on both occasions, and we’re backing him to come out on top once again here.
Prediction: Stephen Bunting 4-6 Chris Dobey
