Munster And Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley has signed a two-year extension with the province and the IRFU to keep him at Munster Until 2027.
Crowley, 25, has been capped 24 times for Ireland, but had been heavily linked with a big-money move to English Premiership side Leicester Tigers.
A lack of game time for Ireland during this year’s Six Nations – where he started just once, against Italy – was reportedly a driving factor in his possible departure.
With Leinster’s Sam Prendergast appearing to have nailed down the starting 10 shirt, Crowley looked destined for a spell abroad.
But this new deal will keep him at Thomond Park for a further two years, and still in Ireland contention.

Prendergast started Ireland’s opening four games during this year’s Six Nations but was dropped for Crowley for the final round.
The pair have been likened to legendary Irish fly-halves Ronan O’Gara and Johnny Sexton, who also battled it out for the starting role while playing for Munster and Leinster respectively.
Crowley came through at Cork Constitution before ing the Munster senior squad in 2021.
In 2022-23, he helped Munster to the URC title and was rewarded with his Ireland debut against Fiji.
He then played a vital role in the 2024 Six Nations triumph but had since fallen behind Prendergast during the 2025 tournament.

Since making his Munster debut in 2021, he has played 67 league matches for the club.
