Jamie Vardy Top 10 Goals For Leicester City 3w3552
10. Leicester City 2–0 Arsenal (9 November 2019) 1a2c3n
First on the list we have a goal Jamie Vardy scored against Arsenal in November 2019, which deserves a place on this list for the build-up to the goal.
Some slick ing between Youri Tielemans, Demari Gray and Harvey Barnes saw Leicester cut through the Arsenal defence and left Vardy with a simple finish at the far post.
9. Sheffield United 1–2 Leicester City (6 December 2020) l3n1n
In ninth we have Vardy’s last-minute winner against Sheffield United in December 2020, which has to hold a place in this list for a multitude of reasons.
Firstly, the Leicester City striker has been a lifelong fan of Sheffield Wednesday, who are the fierce rivals of Sheffield United and secondly, Vardy’s celebration is one which has been etched into history.
The electric striker was put through on goal by James Maddison and found the bottom-right corner before sliding to the corner and smashing the flag to pieces.
8. Sunderland 0-2 Leicester (10 April November 2016) 5b342d
One goal that sums up Jamie Vardy in his prime was his solo effort against Sunderland in April 2016 to take Leicester to within touching distance of the Premier League title.
The English striker had already scored earlier in the match and his second goal was a thing of beauty.
Vardy picked the ball up just inside Sunderland’s half before skipping past the defender with sheer pace and then took the ball round the keeper leaving an empty net to slot the ball home.

7. Manchester City 2–5 Leicester City (27 September 2020) 5k174u
The COVID-19 pandemic brought some interesting results in the Premier League, Aston Villa beating Liverpool 7-2, Tottenham beating Manchester United 6-1 and Leicester City smashing Manchester City 5-2.
During this match, Jamie Vardy scored his third Premier League hat-trick which included a superb finish.
Timothy Castagne managed to find a cross into the box and the Leicester City icon used all of his creativity to back-hell the ball into the back of the net.
This Jamie Vardy goal wasn’t even mentioned in the goal of the season vote.

6. Leicester City 3–1 AFC Bournemouth (31 August 2019) 4b1957
Another lobbed effort takes the spot of sixth in this list, as Jamie Vardy scored a delightful chip in one of the opening matches of the 2019/20 season.
Interestingly, Aaron Ramsdale was the goalkeeper for Bournemouth that day and has said in many interviews that Vardy is one of the toughest strikers he has ever played against.
5. West Brom 2-3 Leicester City (11 April 2015) 6293x
In the 2014/15 season, Leicester City were on the cusp of relegation and needed to pull off one of the greatest escapes in history.
This 3-2 victory over West Brom has been highlighted as somewhat of a turning point, as Leicester came from behind twice and it was only the second time that the Foxes had won consecutive league matches that season.
Vardy scored a sensational solo effort, bullying the defender off the ball just inside the West Brom half and running past the next man before smashing the ball into the bottom corner.

4. Leicester City 2-1 Tottenham (28 November 2017) 696l34
Vardy would once again score against Tottenham Hotspur in November 2017, a feat he managed in the home fixture against Spurs almost eight years later.
An inviting cross from Mahrez allowed Vardy to get his foot on the end of it and loop the ball over Hugo Lloris with a glorious Volley.
3. Leicester City 1–1 Manchester United (28 November 2015) 176t
In what is arguably one of Vardy’s biggest accomplishments in football, the Leicester City striker broke the record for scoring in the most consecutive Premier League matches.
Quite poetically, the original holder was Ruud van Nistelrooy who is not only Vardy’s current manager but also the Dutchman achieved this feat for Manchester United – the team Vardy set a new record against.
It was a typical goal for Jamie Vardy in the 2015/16 season, as the Englishman ran onto a ball in behind and finished emphatically past David de Gea.

2. West Brom 1-4 Leicester City (10 March 2018) y1n3e
We are now getting into the best part of any list – the top two. We have deemed Vardy’s superb left-foot volley against West Brom as his second-best strike for Leicester City.
A superb from, you guessed it, Riyad Mahrez, allowed Vardy to follow the ball over his left shoulder and volley the ball first-time into the bottom corner.
This goal is particularly impressive when you realise that Jamie Vardy is right-footed and he did this on his supposedly weaker side.

1. Leicester City 2–0 Liverpool (2 February 2016) 5m5j6o
Undoubtedly Vardy’s best goal for Leicester City came in February 2016 against Liverpool at the King Power Stadium in the Foxes’ title winning season.
The Premier League icon was having the season of his life, breaking the record for consecutive Premier League goals and this strike embodied his confidence.
A hopeful long-range from Riyad Mahrez found the run of Vardy who after one bounce volleyed the ball from 25 yards out into the back of the net.
