The 33-year-old and his beloved partner met several years ago and have been dating for well over a decade now. Although unconfirmed, the pair are rumoured to be married, with the heavyweight boxer often referring to Laine Tavita as his wife on social media.
That being said, there are no wedding photographs or anything to indicate that the pair of long-term lovers have actually tied the knot.
Despite her long-term partner or perhaps even husband being a world famous fighter, Laine prefers to keep her head down and out of the limelight. She also prefers to keep their personal life private, with Parker’s career as a world class boxer being very much in the limelight.
It is widely reported that Tavita and Parker have been together since their high schools years as teenagers. Both went to Auckland Marcellin College in New Zealand, where the subsequently met and have been together ever since.
Despite no formal record of the pair getting married, as previously mentioned the heavyweight boxing icon has refereed to Laine as his wife on more than one occasion. Perhaps the pair could be married and just never broadcasted it on social media.

Not only is Joseph Parker a loving husband and partner to his wife Laine, but he is a father too. The Australasian boxing phenom became a father around nine years ago with their first child, Elizabeth Ah-Sue Sala Parker.
Laine and Joe’s eldest daughter is eight-years-old now, and is often seen having fun with her family in their family moments shared on social media. Since then, Parker and his long-term partner Laine have had another four children – three girls and one boy.
Their second child was born in July 2018 when they welcomed their second daughter Shiloh Jasmine Parker into the world. Their household got another addition in May 2019 when Laine and her heavyweight boxing husband welcomed their third child.
Michaela Florence Parker was born, with their fourth daughter Esme Dianna Anya Parker being born in May 2022. Their fifth child is not yet a year old, this time the first boy for the New Zealand boxer. For now, it is just the five children the Parker’s currently have.
However, that doesn’t mean to say there won’t be more in the future. Parker did reveal in an interview that his wife Laine Tavita has another child on the way, meaning Parker would be a father of six in a few months time.
It is evident that the former world heavyweight champion is a loving partner and father, and that family means everything to him. Both Laine and her boxing champion husband have family as a number one priority in their lives, as well as boxing of course.
