Arne Slot is facing a touchline ban after his recent red card against Everton and is now waiting to find out what Liverpool games he will miss after accepting charges from the Football Association.
The Dutchman and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff were sent off for protestations towards referee Michael Oliver after the fiesty 2-2 draw at Goodison Park.
Slot and Hulshoff have now accepted their FA charge for alleged “abusive words/behaviour and acting in an improper manner”.
The matter is now back with the FA to decide on what punishment to hand Slot with.
After his red card, the Premier League reported that Slot would be banned for two matches. This was later deleted from their website.
With the case back with the FA, a hearing will take place within the next 10 days. It is widely expected that Slot will be banned from the touchline for two games.

What games Arne Slot could miss because of his impending touchline ban depends on how quickly the case is resolved.
There is not much time for the case to be resolved ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Newcastle United.
Liverpool might be hoping that the ban is handed out between the City trip and Newcastle game on February 26. If that is the case, then he would miss the home games against Newcastle and Southampton (on March 6).
However, the ban might not be handed out in time for Newcastle due to the FA’s timeframe.
That would mean Slot might even be banned for the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle on March 16.
If the ban is not handed out by their Premier League clash with Newcastle, then the Reds will be hoping for some leniency. A one-game ban would mean that he could still be on the dugout for the final.
A longer ban puts him at risk of missing the Merseyside Derby against Everton on April 2 at Anfield.
