Manchester City Come From Behind To Thump Crystal Palace And Keep Champions League Hopes Alive 5w5u3j

Watch Manchester City Vs Crystal Palace highlights as City scored five unanswered goals to overturn an early deficit and beat Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
After a lacklustre performance in their 0-0 Manchester Derby draw at rivals United, Manchester City answered their critics in emphatic fashion.
Early on, things looked to be going from bad to worse, though. Two Crystal Palace goals from Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards gave the visitors a commanding lead in the first half.
Palace then had a third goal ruled out for a tight offside call, as the Premier League’s new semi-automated technology was put to use.
But City skipper Kevin de Bruyne sparked what would be a superb comeback for Pep Guardiola’s side.
His excellent free-kick shortly after the half-hour mark brought the hosts back into the game before Omar Marmoush levelled the scores three minutes later.
After the break, it took City less than two minutes to take the lead, with Mateo Kovacic firing home after being teed up by De Bruyne.
James McAtee grabbed a fourth to score on his first Premier League start, racing onto a long ball from Ederson to skip around Henderson and finish neatly.
City’s fifth then came in the 79th minute, with Nico O’Reilly’s deflected finish rebounding in from close range.
However, it wasn’t all good news for City, who lost Ederson to injury after what looked a fairly routine stop in the second half.
The Brazilian keeper was replaced by Stefan Ortega, but looked to be in serious discomfort.

Victory for City moves them up to fourth in the table ahead of the weekend’s other games.
But with Chelsea and Newcastle having one and two games in hand respectively, City’s league position is likely to be short-lived.
Guardiola’s side travel to Everton next in the Premier League before hosting Aston Villa ahead of their FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest on 27 April.
For Palace, the defeat is their first in eight games across all competitions.
The Eagles are 11th in the table with 43 points, and have their own FA Cup semi to navigate when they play Aston Villa.
Before that, there are Premier League trips to Newcastle and Arsenal either side of hosting Bournemouth.
