The ill-tempered affair at Selhurst Park got off to a violent start off the pitch as tempers boiled over in the stands.
In a video circulating on social media, an over-zealous Millwall fan can be seen climbing over the section divider to confront a number of Palace ers.
Several Palace fans then rush to fight the man, as security tried to stop the brawl ahead of kick-off.

The clip then shows the Millwall fan lose his footing, leading to multiple opposition fans lay in a number of punches.
The ugly scenes have marred Palace’s 3-1 win over 10-man Millwall, which included alleged homophobic chants during the game and sickening chants of “let him die” at a stricken Jean-Philippe Mateta following his horror head injury.
The FA are set to investigate the homophobic chants heard during the game.
Palace went on to win the game FA Cup quarter-finals.
