Mohamed Salah has provided an update on his contract situation at Liverpool after he itted he’s still ‘far away’ from g a new deal to extend his stay at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah will be able to leave Liverpool for nothing next summer with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
From January 1, the Egyptian winger will be able to sign a pre-contract to a foreign team during the summer transfer window.
Despite this uncertainty, Salah has been playing better than ever for Liverpool. He West Ham on Sunday.
By doing so, he becomes the first Premier League player in history to score and assist in at least eight different games across the season – with 20 games left to play.
He tops the scoring charts in the league with 17 and also assists with 13. Across all competitions he has 37 goal contributions in 26 games.
It has been a common sight for reporters to quiz Salah about his future after a stunning display. That was no different after their 5-0 win at the London Stadium.

Salah Still ‘Far Away’ From New Deal 41552l
When asked about his contract situation, Mohamed Salah itted there’s still some way to go.
Questioned if he is closer to g a new contract, he told Sky Sports: “No we are far away from that.
“I don’t want to put something in the media and people start saying stuff but nothing has really moved on.”
Despite this, Salah insisted that he is fully focused on guiding Liverpool to a second league title during his time at Anfield. The Reds are currently eight points clear of Nottingham Forest after a soaring opening half to the season.
The Egyptian said: “But I’m focused on the team and hopefully we will win the Premier League.”
His comments will be a concern to Liverpool fans. In November Salah said that he was ‘more out than in’ when asked about his contract situation.
Reports have stated that Salah has been approached by the Reds over a new deal. Along withTrent Alexander-Arnold whose futures are also uncertain.
However, Salah’s age (33 next summer) has created some uncertainty over whether Liverpool will offer him the amount and length of deal that he wants.
