Watch as Arsenal starlet Myles Lewis-Skelly scored just 20 minutes into his senior England debut to put the Three Lions 1-0 up against Albania in World Cup qualifying on Friday evening.

The Thomas Tuchel era got off to a flying start at Wembley on Friday, as Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly scored less than 20 minutes into his England debut to put the Three Lions 1-0 up against Albania in World Cup qualifying.

Tuchel opted to hand the 18-year-old his first-ever senior international call-up for March’s camp alongside Newcastle United defender Dan Burn, with both players being selected to start in the German’s first match in charge.

Marcus Rashford, who was recalled after an impressive start to his loan spell at Aston Villa, also returned to the England lineup. Former captain Jordan Henderson was also called up but was named on the bench.

Looking to impress on his maiden appearance, Lewis-Skelly did just that. A lovely weighted ball from Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham sent the Gunners star in behind the visiting defence, and he made no mistake in rolling the ball in between the legs of the onrushing Thomas Strakosha to open the scoring.

In doing so, Lewis-Skelly becomes the youngest player in history to score on his Three Lions debut, aged 18 years and 176 days, suring Rashford’s record of 18 years and 209 days when he scored against Australia in 2016.

It’s just his second goal in senior football, with his first coming for Arsenal in their 5-1 win over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium back in early February.
