Following his maiden European Tour victory last weekend, darts rankings.
‘The Asp’ broke new ground with victory at the 2025 European Darts Trophy, defeating fellow Englishman Ryan Joyce 8-4 in the final.
This marked Aspinall’s first career win on the European Tour and first ranking title since July 2023. Aspinall’s victory in means he has returned to the Top 10 in the PDC Order of Merit.
The Stockport darting star has climbed four places into eighth in the world, overtaking Gerwyn Price, Dave Chisnall, James Wade and Chris Dobey in the process.
The 33-year-old also pocketed £30,000 for his exploits at the European Darts Trophy, which has helped him climb the latest PDC Order of Merit rankings. On his way to victory Aspinall beat the likes of Gary Anderons, Jermaine Wattimena and Ritchie Edhouse.
Despite losing to Aspinall in the showpiece match on Sunday, Ryan Joyce has climbed to a career-highest 26th in the Order of Merit.
The PDC Order of Merit is constantly changing. It comprises prize money won over a two-year period by players in PDC ranking events.

The only change to the Top 10 was of course Nathan Aspinall climbing to eighth, with James Wade dropping to 11th and Gerwyn Price dropping to 12th.
Ryan Joyce also climbed three spots thanks to his £12,000 purse for coming second at the European Darts Trophy.
Some other positive mover saw Jermaine Wattimena, Niels Zonneveld, Wessel Nijman, Niko Springer and Adam Hunt climb the latest PDC Order of Merit rankings.
Danny Noppert, Brendan Dolan, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Madars Razma, Richard Veenstra, Joshua Richardson, Dylan Slevin and Michele Turetta all fell down the rankings.
