Free agent Paul Pogba has been tipped for a move to MLS outfit Inter Miami following his departure from Juventus.

The Frenchman reached a mutual agreement with the Old Lady to terminate his contract which was due to expire in 2026 in favour of a move elsewhere.

The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Miami, where he could the former Barcelona quartet of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Earlier this year in February, Pogba was slapped with a four-year ban from football for doping – but last month it was reduced following an appeal and he’s free to return to action from March 2025.

The player released a statement saying:

“My time at Juventus has come to an end. It has been a privilege to pull on the shirt of the bianconeri and to share so many special moments together. I cherish the memories we made. They live on.

“Even in the most difficult moments over the past year, your was crucial and I want to thank Juve fans around the world for their comion. It has been a pleasure to have experienced so many great moments with my teammates over the years and I wish them every success in the future.

“I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career and to stepping out on the pitch with my next club.”

Pogba is currently training in Miami on a daily basis in order to build his fitness and get ready for his next challenge, which is very likely to be in the United States.

At just 31 years of age, Pogba has plenty of football ahead of him and he could become the poster boy for Major League Soccer upon Messi’s retirement.

Once regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, the former Manchester United star is determined to prove his worth and return to the top of his game.
