PDC Premier League Darts Night 12 Preview 122c3v
Luke Littler currently sits top of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts table on 30 points having won Night 2, Night 5 and Night 7 and Night 8 of this year’s BetMGM Premier League.
Reigning world number one Luke Humphries currently sits in second place just seven points behind ‘The Nuke’. ‘Coolhand’ has also won two individual night’s so far in this Premier League Darts campaign.
Nathan Aspinall sits in third on 17 points after reigning supreme in Manchester on Night 10 just a fortnight ago. Then comes Gerwyn Price who makes up the top four, having won Night 3 in Dublin and Night 6 in Nottingham.
Michael van Gerwen is fifth on 15 points, with Chris Dobey behind him in sixth on 12 points following last week’s triumph in Rotterdam. Rob Cross is seventh on 12 points, with Stephen Bunting bottom of the pack but now on eight points after his victory in Berlin on Night 9.
For Night 12 of the Premier League, UK bookmakers are favouring Luke Littler to triumph at the M&S Bank Arena. He faces ‘Mighty Mike’ in the second game of the evening this week, looking to break the Premier League record and win a fifth individual night.
The opening match sees ‘The Asp’ face world number one ‘Coolhand’, with ‘Voltage’ taking on ‘The Bullet’ in the third quarter-final tie of the evening. ‘The Iceman’ faces ‘Hollywood’ is the fourth and final quarter-final tie of the evening.
What a night of tungsten action we are in for on Night 12 of the 2025 Premier League Darts in Liverpool. Will we see any 170 checkouts or perhaps even another nine-dart finish?
PDC Premier League Darts Night 12 Predictions 3dt57
Luke Humphries vs Nathan Aspinall (19:15) 1e6841
The first clash on Night 12 of the 2025 Premier League Darts campaign in Liverpool sees reigning world number one and former world champion Luke Humphries take on the in-form Nathan Aspinall.
A few weeks ago this would have been a relatively comfortable ‘Coolhand’ victory on paper, but that is far from the truth now. ‘The Asp’ is playing some superb darts and has shown he is more than capable of beating everyone on his day.
That being said, Humphries will be looking for a nightly win to keep the pressure on Luke Littler at the top of the standings.
This could go all the way and certainly won’t be a one sided affair whichever way it goes. Expect a tight one in the opener on Merseyside on Thursday night.
Prediction: Luke Humphries 6-5 Nathan Aspinall 2i6u54
Michael van Gerwen vs Luke Littler (19:45) 4g2u2
This is another game that is incredibly difficult to call, with the best sports betting apps unsurprisingly favouring Luke Littler. That being said, Michael van Gerwen comes to Liverpool fresh off the back of a fourth German Darts Grand Prix victory at the weekend in Munich.
The Dutchman is still yet to win an individual night in this year’s Premier League Darts campaign, but is still well in the fight for the play-offs. On the flip side, ‘The Nuke’ is chasing a record fifth nightly win of this campaign which would be a new Premier League record.
The 18-year-old has won the last three head-to-head meetings between the pair, all in the Premier League. We can see him making that four in a row in a tightly fought affair at the M&S Bank Arena.
Prediction: Michael van Gerwen 4-6 Luke Littler 3m5m42
Rob Cross vs Stephen Bunting (20:15) 275w1o
The third match on Night 12 of the Premier League Darts in Liverpool sees the inconsistent Rob Cross take on hometown favourite and Night 9 winner Stephen Bunting.
‘The Bullet’ would be a popular winner on Merseyside this week and will certainly have the crowd on his side. However, ‘Voltage’ has been incredibly unlucky of late and has actually been playing some incredible darts.
Although the crowd is on his side, we feel this could be a frustrating night for Bunting with the former world champion Cross instead running out victor in the penultimate quarter-final tie.
Prediction: Rob Cross 6-4 Stephen Bunting 3e6u33
Gerwyn Price vs Chris Dobey (20:45) 174my
Rounding off the quarter-final action in the north-east is a clash between former world champion Gerwyn Price and last week’s Night 11 winner in Rotterdam, Chris Dobey.
Price is still well in the hunt for the play-offs, but does need to add a few more points to make sure of his position. ‘Hollywood’ on the other hand will be looking to go back-to-back and keep his play-off hopes alive too.
That being said, he will need to bring his best darts if he is to beat ‘The Iceman’. We expect the Welshman to get the job done here and give himself a chance at a third nightly win of this year’s Premier League Darts campaign.
Prediction: Gerwyn Price 6-3 Chris Dobey 452q3h
Night 12 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts is sure to be another entertaining one. But who will go on to be crowned champion on Merseyside?
Our prediction is that Luke Littler will reign supreme this week in Liverpool, breaking the record for the most individual night wins in a single Premier League Darts campaign with his fifth.
