PDC Premier League Darts Night Six Preview 6m3j60

Luke Humphries currently sits top of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts table, having won both Night One and Night Four of this year’s BetMGM Premier League.

Just two points behind ‘Coolhand’ is Luke Littler, who himself has also won two individual night’s so far in this Premier League Darts campaign.

The only other winner of an individual night so far is of course Gerwyn Price, who won in Dublin on Night 3. Although ‘The Iceman’ is the only player besides Humphries and Littler to have won an individual night, he currently sits outside the Top 4.

Ahead of him are Nathan Aspinall and Michael van Gerwen, both on eight points. Then comes Price on seven, with Rob Cross next on six points, Chris Dobey seventh on three points and Stephen Bunting rock bottom on zero points.

The Luke Littler to reign supreme in Nottingham this week, but he has the toughest opening game possible as he takes on league leader Luke Humphries in the first game of the night.

The second game of the evening sees Rob Cross, who hit a nine-dart finish last week before losing narrowly to Nathan Aspinall in the semis, take on Chris Dobey, who gave ‘The Nuke’ a real scare last week.

This is followed by Stephen Bunting vs Gerwyn Price, which is the third game of the evening. ‘The Bullet’ is yet to a point in this year’s Premier League Darts and will be desperate to get off the mark this week against the Welshman.

The last of the four quarter-final matches sees Michael van Gerwen take on Nathan Aspinall. This is 3rd vs 4th with both of these men looking to cut the deficit to the top two on Thursday night.

PDC Premier League Darts Night Six Prediction 5h6z71

Luke Humphries vs Luke Littler (19:10) 1a3r5i

This is certainly the tie of the night, with the two best darts players in the world and top two players in this year’s Premier League so far locking horns in the opening game of the night in Nottingham.

Luke Littler of course won in Brighton last week, meanwhile Luke Humphries himself hit a nine-darter in his quarter-final loss to Rob Cross.

‘The Nuke’ also come here fresh off the back of an impressive win last weekend at the Belgian Darts Open. That being said, his impressive run is bound to come to and end soon, and it could even be this week against ‘Coolhand’.

This could also be a 180-fest, with both men some of the biggest maximum hitters in world darts. Expect a pulsating affair between darts two hottest properties.

Prediction: Luke Humphries 6-4 Luke Littler 1z3ay

Rob Cross vs Chris Dobey (19:40) 4j155w

Last week Rob Cross was in tantalising form, beating Luke Humphries in the quarter-finals before then hitting a nine-darter in his semi-final affair with Nathan Aspinall.

Despite losing to Aspinall, ‘Voltage’ ed two 100+ averages last week in Brighton and can count himself very unlucky not to at least make the final.

He faces a Chris Dobey who came agonisingly close to beating Luke Littler in the first game of the night last week. This one could go all the way and is certainly a tough one to call.

That being said, it’s hard to look past Cross based on last week’s performances, giving him the slight edge over ‘Hollywood’.

Prediction: Rob Cross 6-5 Chris Dobey 682o4p

Stephen Bunting vs Gerwyn Price (20:10) 1r3c5w

Stephen Bunting is in desperate need of Premier League points as he sits bottom of the pile without a single point to his name. Bunting is without a doubt one of the best players in the world, but hasn’t quite shown it so far in the Premier League.

He faces a relatively in-form Gerwyn Price, who played well at the Belgian Darts Open over the weekend and who of course won Night 4 in Dublin three weeks ago.

The best sports betting apps are favouring ‘The Iceman’ here, as will the vast majority of fans. That being said, ‘The Bullet’ is bound to win a game at some stage, and Thursday night in Nottingham could well prove to be his night.

Both come into this one after a reasonably strong showing in Belgium over the weekend, but who will claim victory in the third quarter-final match on Night 6 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts?

Prediction: Stephen Bunting 3-6 Gerwyn Price 6co2v

Nathan Aspinall vs Michael van Gerwen (20:40) 4k5j6q

The fourth quarter-final tie of the evening sees fan-favourite Nathan Aspinall take on the seven-time Premier League winner Michael van Gerwen.

The Dutchman has somewhat been out of sorts of late, but has shown signs of his best darts in brief spells throughout the Premier League campaign so far.

Both of these players currently occupy a Top 4 spot, but neither have won an individual night. ‘The Asp’ has been defeated in two final’s on Night Three and Night Five respectively, with ‘MVG’ not yet making a final appearance.

Could this be the week where one of these two closes the gap on the two Luke’s at the top of the table?

Prediction: Nathan Aspinall 3-6 Michael van Gerwen 33684x

Night 6 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts is sure to be another entertaining one. But who will go on to be crowned champion in Nottingham?

Our prediction is that Gerwyn Price will reign supreme this week, ing Luke Humphries and Luke Littler with two night wins in this year’s Premier League.
