Which Premier League Teams are in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025? 2d4n47
Two Premier League clubs will participate in the inaugural edition of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup: Manchester City and Chelsea. Man City or Chelsea will be in for a huge payday if they win the tournament.
How Manchester City Qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup q2z4l
Manchester City won UEFA’s top competition — UEFA Champions League — in 2023, well inside the four-year eligibility window. So, they comfortably qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Manchester City finished the 2024/25 season without winning a single major trophy, ending an eight-year streak. City are aiming to begin the new season on the best possible note, but they will have to manage without the freshly injured Mateo Kovacic.
How Chelsea Qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup 11w46
Like Manchester City, Chelsea also qualified for the 2025 FIFA World Cup through the UEFA Champions League route. The Blues, who won the UEFA Conference League in May, lifted the Champions League in 2021.

Why Are Liverpool Not Playing in the 2025 Club World Cup? 632w51
With six European Cups / UEFA Champions League titles to their name, Liverpool are the most successful English team in Europe. However, they will not be able to showcase their might in the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup edition in June.
Although Liverpool have consistently outperformed Chelsea in the Premier League, they have fallen short in the Champions League lately. They reached the final in 2022, but lost to Real Madrid, thanks to a brilliant Thibaut Courtois performance.

Liverpool’s last Champions League came in 2019, as they beat Tottenham Hotspur in the final. Since only winners between 2021 and 2024 are eligible, Liverpool could not directly qualify for the competition.
Additionally, only two clubs per country can qualify for the 2025 CWC, unless one is a continental champion. With Man City and Chelsea taking the spots, Liverpool could not qualify despite showing some strong form in the competition.
Why Arsenal Are Not in the 2025 Club World Cup? 6o5y3r
Arsenal have shown strong form in the Premier League, finishing second in the last three seasons. However, in Europe, they have been disappointing, falling short time and time again.
As Manchester City and Chelsea have qualified as Champions League winners, and there is a two-team / nation cap, Arsenal have missed out.
