The Royal Ascot Meeting each year runs over five days, with the action always getting going on a Tuesday and ending on the Saturday.
This year the Royal Ascot 2025 dates are Tues 17th to Sat 21st June 2025, where there will be seven races each day. Which means there is a total of 35 races over the fixture.
The Royal Ascot race times each day are the same too – with the first race at 2:30pm and the last race at 6:10pm.
While over the entire meeting there are eight Group One races and over £10m in prize money to be won.

The opening day of Royal Ascot 2025 kicks-off with three Group One races that include the Queen Anne Stakes, the St James’s Palace Stakes and King Charles III Stakes.
In 2024, the St James’s Palace Stakes was won by Rosallion for trainer Richard Hannon – which was the yard’s third success in the race.
But it’s the Aidan O’Brien came that have the best record, having won this Group One nine times and more than any other stable.

On day two at Royal Ascot and it’s the Prince of Wales’s Stakes over 1m2f that is the feature Group One contest with a £1m purse.
Last year the prize went to the Aidan O’Brien Epsom Derby winner Auguste Rodin – with the yard winning the race for a fifth time.
He was ridden by Ryan Moore and with Ascot donating £5k for every Royal Ascot winner Moore rides in 2025 to the Retraining Of Racehorses – this charity will punters in cheering him on over the five days.

The third day at Royal Ascot is Ladies Day and really, it’s only about one race – the Ascot Gold Cup.
12 months ago, the race was won by the recently retired Kyprios, who also won the 2022 running.

It shares the Group One spoils on Friday with the Commonwealth Cup at 3:05pm, which is one of the newer races on the calendar – having only started in 2015.
Last year it was won by the Kevin Ryan-trained Inisherin.

Each day the broadcaster will be showing ALL seven races – with the first six on their main ITV Racing channel.
While the final race each day (6:10pm) will be shown on ITV4.

Ascot racecourse is situated on Ascot High Street (SL5 7JX) in Berkshire.
The track is located in wooded countryside that runs by Windsor Great Park and is approx. 50 minutes (drive) from London.
With the nearest train station Ascot, which is a 10-minute walk from the course.
The South Western Railway service runs to Ascot from Reading, Aldershot and London Waterloo.
