Kicking off the top 10 most followed F1 drivers on social media is McLaren star Oscar Piastri.

The Australian has been mightily impressive since his rookie season in 2023 and is a championship contender in 2025 alongside teammate Lando Norris.

While he has taken the ‘ice man’ nickname from Kimi Raikkonen he is nothing like the Finnish driver on social media.  The Australian’s dry humour is a hit with fans and expect him to rise up this list over 2025 particularly as he wins more races.

9. Alex Albon – 4.7M Followers 4o5j1e

Williams driver Alex Albon is one of the most popular drivers in the F1 paddock and is one of the most active posters on social media.

The London-born Thai driver shares a lot of pictures from his travels across the world whether it be through his job as an F1 driver, or with his girlfriend – professional golfer Muni “Lily” He.

Albon started the 2025 season with a fifth-place finish in Australia, his best finish since his days as a Red Bull driver in 2020.

8. Pierre Gasly – 7.6m Followers 6y22w

Alpine driver Pierre Gasly is by far the most active F1 driver on social media as he regularly posts ‘photo dumps’ of his travels across the world and likes the posts of his fellow drivers and his followers.

He is usually the first driver to post on social media after a race, with Lewis Hamilton once joking on Instagram that he was ‘posting a photo dump before @PierreGasly posts his’.

The French driver who has one race win to his name, has been in the sport since 2017 driving for Torro Rosso, Red Bull and now Alpine.

The Dutchman is like marmite to F1 fans as he often attracts ire for his aggressive style of driving, but he also has plenty of irers for also delivering some stunning performances which arguably makes him the most talented driver on the grid at present.
