Leinster And Glasgow Book Places In URC Semi-finals As Dates Confirmed For Final Four 1d4g2i

We’re previewing the URC semi-finals and revealing the times, locations and how to watch all the action as the final four sides face off.
After a long and gruelling season, just four teams remain in contention to win the United Rugby Championship (URC).
Reigning champions Glasgow Warriors were the first to book their place in the semis.
The Scottish outfit overcame South African opponents Stormers on Friday night, winning 36-18.
Saturday’s URC fixtures saw Leinster bounce back from their European Champions Cup semi-final defeat.
The Dubliners were 33-21 winners against Welsh side Scarlets.
South African teams won the other two quarter-finals. The Bulls beat Edinburgh 42-33, while the Sharks overcame Munster in dramatic fashion.
With the scores level at 24-24, a very rare goal-kicking penalty shootout was required to separate the two sides.
The Sharks were victorious from the tee, winning 30-28 after penalties.
So, with the final four teams confirmed, when and where are the URC semi-finals, and how can you watch the action on TV where you are?

URC Fixtures: When Are The Semi-Finals? 2y5y5r
The URC semis will both take place next weekend, on Saturday, 7 June.
First up, Leinster will take on Glasgow in a repeat of April’s Champions Cup quarter-final.
Leinster won that fixture comfortably, inflicting a 52-0 hammering on Glasgow, who will want to avoid a similar humiliation.
That game kicks off at 14:45 BST, with the other semi-final following on at 17:15.
It’s an all-South African affair in the other URC fixture. The Bulls and Sharks will go head-to-head in Pretoria, with the chance to be crowned to top South African side in the competition as well as booking a place in the final.
Where Will The URC Semi-Finals Be Played? 654q3c
Leinster will host Glasgow at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Home to both Leinster and the Ireland national team, the Aviva is an iconic ground with a capacity of 51,700.
Meanwhile, the Bulls will welcome the Sharks to Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
With an almost identical capacity, Loftus can hold 51,762 people.

Home advantage is often a factor in rugby, but may be particularly important for the Bulls.
That’s because Loftus Versfeld is located on the high veld in Pretoria, at a much higher altitude than most teams are used to playing at.
In the tunnel at the stadium the Bulls have a sign which reads: “Altitude. 1350m. It matters.”
One of the last things opponents see as they enter the field, it is used to unsettle players not used to the extra demands of playing at altitude.

Where Is The URC Final In 2025? 6f3x5x
Unlike most sporting events, the URC Grand Final does not have a guaranteed location confirmed yet.
This is because the highest-seeded team in the final will be selected to host the match.
Because of this, three venues are still in contention.
- Croke Park, Dublin – Leinster (1)
- Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria – Pretoria Bulls (2)
- Hollywoodbets Kings Park, Durban – Durban Sharks (3)
As the lowest-ranked team in the semi-finals, Glasgow Warriors would not be able to host the final regardless of their opponents.
The URC final will be held on Saturday, 14 June, with the kickoff time yet to be confirmed.
