The 125th edition of the U.S. Open gets underway at Oakmont Country Club on Thursday, and the official groupings and UK tee times have now been confirmed ahead of the action.
Rory McIlroy will look to claim his second major of the year in Pennsylvania this weekend, with the Northern Irishman set to take part in the U.S. Open at the iconic Oakmont Country Club, starting on Thursday.
He has been given an early-late draw, grouped alongside Shane Lowry and Justin Rose. They will tee off at 12:40 UK time.
Elsewhere, reigning champion Bryson DeChambeau, who beat McIlroy to win last year’s U.S. Open, tees off at 12:29 in Round One alongside Xander Schauffele and U.S. Amateur winner Jose Luis Ballester.
2022 U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick follows with Wyndham Clark and Gary Woodland on Hole 1 at 12:40.
Dustin Johnson, who was the last U.S. Open winner at Oakmont in 2016, kickstarts his tournament at 18:14 UK time on Hole 10. The two-time major winner has been grouped with Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler starts at 18:25 BST on Thursday, bidding to secure back-to-back majors after his triumph at the Memorial Tournament a week and a half ago, out with Viktor Hovland and Collin Morikawa.
