Two More Matches Added To Wrestlemania 41 Card After WWE Smackdown In Bologna 5qy6f

The updated card for Wrestlemania 41 features two new matches following the latest episode of Smackdown filmed in Bologna, Italy.

Four bouts had already been confirmed including the much-anticipated Undisputed John Cena.

There are two nights to fill, so plenty more matches are expected to be added to the card between now and the Showcase of the Immortals which runs over the nights of April 19 and 20 in Las Vegas.

Below, are the two matches that have been added to the Wrestlemania 41 card.

CM Punk vs Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins 3c3f4v

WWE Smackdown in Bologna ended with a promo and a huge brawl between CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

There is plenty of history between these three men – particularly Reigns and Rollins.

Rollins famously broke up The Shield in 2014 by slamming a steel chair into the back of Reigns.

Meanwhile, Rollins and CM Punk have had a rivalry since the latter made a shock return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023.

Punk eliminated Rollins and Reigns from the Royal Rumble and has had two vicious matches with the former on WWE Raw.

Some have suggested that it could main event Night 1 of Wrestlemania over other title matches including Jey Uso v Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title.

All three of these men have dominated our industry…

They have had historic reigns as WWE Champion…

…and they all cannot wait to beat the other on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton 17g5v

Former friends turned rivals Kevin Owens and Randy Orton will also meet on the updated Wrestlemania 41 card.

The pair regularly teamed together in 2024. However, their friendship fell apart after Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes for teaming up with his long-time rival Roman Reigns.

Randy Orton sided with Rhodes to the fury of Owens. They were set to meet at WWE Crown Jewel but the match never got started due to a pre-match brawl.

Owens then took Orton out of action for three years with a banned piledriver.

Orton returned at the Elimination Chamber and following their promo on Smackdown, they are due to meet at Wrestlemania 41.
